  Please find below a simple recipe for Jamaican jerk chicken: Ingredients: - 1 whole chicken, cut into pieces (approximately 8 pieces) - 1/2 cup of jerk marinade  - 1 tablespoon of olive oil - Salt and pepper to taste For the jerk marinade: - 1 onion, chopped - 2 cloves of garlic, minced - 1 Scotch bonnet pepper, seeded and minced (optional) - 1 tablespoon of grated ginger - 1 teaspoon of allspice - 1 teaspoon of thyme - 1 teaspoon of cinnamon - 1 teaspoon of nutmeg - 1 teaspoon of brown sugar - 1/2 teaspoon of salt - 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper - 1/4 cup of soy sauce - 1/4 cup of lime juice - 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil Instructions: 1. To make the jerk marinade, blend all the ingredients in a blender or food processor until smooth. 2. Place the chicken pieces in a large bowl and pour the marinade over them. Turn the chicken to coat it evenly in the marinade. 3. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 2 hours or overnight. 4. When ready to cook, remove the chicken from the mar
